For the last 3 days we have been at THFM (The Henry Ford Museum). The first time we went to Greenfield Village we watched fireworks and listened to musica (by the Detroit Symphony). I got the biggest cotton candy ever!

The next day we went back to Greenfield Village and road a steam engine train. We also road in a Model T car, the oldest Model T at THFM. Then the last day we went to THFM we took a factory tour and learned that every 53 seconds a Ford F150 comes out for a test drive! It takes 20 hours to make a F150 truck from start to finish. My favorite part was theater 2. It showed you how an F150 is built in a super cool high-tech way! It had lights and robot arms, which my sister did not like. We also did a racing simulator, which was more sensitive than Jaycie (that’s saying something!)

One last thing I sat in Rosa Parks’ seat on the bus without even knowing it. One fact about Rosa Parks is that the case went all the way to the supreme court.

Henry Ford worked for (and later with) Thomas Edison which I also learned. And Finally, Greenfield Village is a large piece of land where Ford collected houses and other really big, cool stuff! Thanks for reading!
